I have made purchases through Benshaw in
the past and would like to make purchases using my existing account. How do I
obtain a user account and password ?
You can simply email your request for a
user name and password using the link on the Contact Us form. provide your
company name and contact information and Benshaw will promptly respond with a
user name and password for your company.
I have logged into the BenshawExpress in
the past, but I forgot my password. How Do I obtain another password ?
On the Your Account form there is a
link for emailing your request for a password update for an existing account.
Does Benshaw set limits for on-line
purchase order approval ?
Benshaw reviews all on-line purchase
orders above a certain limit for approval. Purchase order approvals are based
upon your current financial standing with Benshaw.
How can I check the status of an order
that I have placed on-line ?
If you have an account with Benshaw,
you can use the Your Account screen to review the status of all orders placed
through BenshawExpress. The order number, the order date, the order
status , the total, the ship date, and the last ship date are available for
each order placed on-line.
How is the product pricing structured ?
When you visit BenshawExpress without
logging in you will see the product's catalog list prices. After you login
using your account you will see the product pricing based upon your
current unique price list options with Benshaw.
If I do not have an account with Benshaw,
can I place an order using a credit card ?
Yes, Benshaw currently accepts on-line
Master Card and Visa credit card purchases. In the future we may accept
additional credit cards.
When will the on-line
transaction amount be applied to my credit card ?
The purchase amount will
be applied at the time of the authorization.
How do I know that Benshaw has received
my order ?
Benshaw will send you an order
confirmation via email detailing the items on you order as well as the ship to
address.
How do I know when my order has been
shipped and when can I expect to receive the items on my order ?
An order shipping confirmation will be
sent to you via email upon the fulfillment of the order.
How are applicable sales taxes calculated
?
The system first checks the ship to
address information. If you are a registered Benshaw customer, then your taxes
are calculated based upon your tax exempt/non-exempt status with Benshaw. if
you are a Web customer purchasing with a credit card the system checks the tax
postal nexus ranges based upon your ship to zip code to compute applicable
taxes.
What freight options are available
?
BenshawExpress provides for shipment
via UPS, Common Carrier, and Air shipping. All prices are FOB, Pittsburgh PA.
If you are a registered customer your default shipment method will be chosen.
If you are a Web customer you may choose your shipment method For Guaranteed
Two Hour Response call (412) 973-7081. if you call in for the Guaranteed Two
Hour Response, please have your customer, the ship-to address, a contact name
and phone number available.
What should I do if I need to make
changes to an order ?
Once an order is entered in
BenshawExpress, you can not return to make changes to the order on-line.
Please contact one of the Benshaw sales team to make changes to your
order.
What happens if I leave BenshawExpress
before completing an order ?
You will be automatically logged out
after 30 minutes of inactivity. Should you have items in your shopping cart,
your cart is not emptied until 10 days have passed. If you log back into the
store and your cart is not empty from the previous session, you will be
automatically directed to review your cart contents.
